Gevo took the #1 spot in the 2024 “50 Hottest Companies in the Bioeconomy” rankings, published today in The Digest, the world’s most widely-read bioeconomy daily.
LanzaTech (#2), Avantium (#3), Comstock Fuels (#4), BioVeritas (#5), LanzaJet (#6), Aemetis (#7), Praj (#8), Ensyn (#9) and Oberon Fuels (#10) rounded out the top 10.
The annual rankings, which recognize innovation and achievement in fuels and integrated biorefinery development, are based on votes by the delegates of ABLC, the world’s most widely-attended advanced bioeconomy series.
“This year, the voters went global in picking companies from all around the world focused on sustainable fuels and chemicals — founded in India, New Zealand, Canada, the US, and the Netherlands, in the top 10,” said Digest editor and publisher Jim Lane.
The Miami, FL-based Digest serves more than 6.3 million readers and followers via the web, newsletters, streaming and video-on-demand.
